No lighting effects ... no color coordinations ... no special lenses ... just straight shooting and an innocent attempt to see what I can see.
If I hit Year Two (and I do not believe anything would impede me from doing so) then it's time for classes, lessons, study, theory and a Big Boy Camera.
I love your approach. I think it's a great way to enjoy the medium the way it's meant to be enjoyed... While studying theory genuinely helps getting to the next level, doing it too early can impede the creative process. I have no doubt this is just the beginning of a great relationship with photography. I'm looking forward to see how you evolve as a photographer while keeping it the way it is: fun :-)
